My Sabah new friends always try to introduce new places or foods to me. They always said must try famous 'Tuaran Mee'.It is about one hour drive from Kota Kinabalu to Tuaran. That day when we are on the way back from Mountain Kinabalu to Kota Kinabalu, we saw a sign board stated 500m to tuaran. Hubby said let's try 'TUARAN Mee' since we are around there.

Oh ! it's like 'Penang wan tan mee' but the mee is crispy. ha ha ha...that is 'Tuaran Mee'

LEGEND OF MOONCAKE
Do you know why the Chinese eat moon cake to celebrate mooncake festival? There is a history behind the legend. China was once ruled by Mongolian during the Yuan dynasty at AD. 1280-1368. The Chinese were very unhappy to be rule by foreigner. The leaders of the preceding Sung dynasty decided to go underground to coordinate a rebelled again the Yuan government. The rebellion leaders ordered to baked moon cake and inside each moon cake insert an outline of the attack against the government. Because it is a Han cake, the Mongolians were not interested and therefore not able to discover the planned. The plan was very successful and managed to overthrown the Mongolian government and built the Ming dynasty. To commemorate this event, Chinese will bake and eat moon cake to celebrate the mooncake festival from passed till now.

My princesses favourite activity

My princesses favourite activity during this school holiday....painting cum playing with water colour. They can spend hours with this interesting activity... Me strongly support them with 'equipments' they really enjoy. I prefer them with this activity rather that watch TV or play computer games.

My girls achievement and My feeling......

Smiley

My princess Brenda already started looking forward her fourth monthly exam result since her principle announced will be distributed last Monday, this time she feel more excited and confident. Last Friday after school when she was line up waiting dismissed bell ring,I saw her hand holder a piece of paper and she waived to me and smile happily...ha ha I knew she wish to share something that make her soooo happy. When the bell ring, she rushed to me and said : 'Mama I told you I can get number 6but you don't believe..I got it, I got it.' I quickly told her that not I don't believe just Mama don't want you to feel pressure.' I told her that i knew she always try her best to do well, Mama already feel very happy and proud of you.'

Ha..ha of course I was so happy and proud of my girl yesterday (like all the mother)when I see she is sooo happy. She got 6/52 in class and 14/311 in whole standard 1.I just happy to share every sweet moment with my sweetheart and will be there for her whether it is sunny or rainy. Mama love you.

After wrote this, I saw this article from Lee blog (a SAHM too)writing her feeling and her journey of teaching her kids. It is my feeling too...and just paste here some for sharing.....
